Hypnosis is very similar to daydreaming, which in itself is just a very gentle, light trance state we naturally fall in and out of daily. It can be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. For some, it can also be a very cathartic experience, with many clients feeling invigorated and energised afterward, often with greater clarity and insight.

Yes. Trance is a naturally occurring state we all drift in and out of throughout the day. When we watch television or lose ourselves in a good book, our brain has naturally relaxed into a gentle trance. Most of our problematic thoughts and behaviours are also unconscious trances we act out every day.
No. During hypnosis, you are fully aware of what is being said and what is happening throughout the session. You can voluntarily break the trance at any time if you choose to.
No. Like with all therapies or medicines, there is no absolute guarantee. I have been trained to create the very best conditions as possible to assist you in your recovery. As with all therapies, always research your therapist and speak to them beforehand to make sure their approach is right for you.
On average most clients will typically need 60 minutes per session. Everyone is unique and some techniques may take longer with some clients than others. This can vary from session to session.
There is no set number of sessions required as everyone experiences their problem differently and each person is dealing with different variables in their individual lives. I like to work at the pace of each client, but I usually like to see clients for 3 -6 sessions.
